Change is scary, but these two cats have the courage of little lions.

Once-stray cats Poe and Roxy have lived with their humans for several years. After the loss of their mother, however, the health of their father, Bernard, has declined. With Bernard confined to his bed and his sons talking about putting the cats up for adoption, Poe and Roxy worry for their father and fear for their future.

But Bernard has always called Poe and Roxy his little lions, and it’s time they proved him right. When the day of change arrives, Poe and Roxy take their future into their own paws. With the help of a postcard, a black cat named Luna, and a friendly human, Poe and Roxy seek out the one person they know won’t give them up: Bernard’s daughter, Sally.
